‘BRItain is still speaking’ - COUNTERPOINT ARTS
Producer / Director
Travelling the UK in her 'Refugees Welcome' truck following the EU referendum result in 2016, conceptual artist Alketa Xhafa Mripa was surprised to receive positive thoughts and feelings from the British public surrounding migration.
‘Britain is Still Speaking’ is a short film that shines a more hopeful light towards the refugee crisis, expressed through the mediums of spoken word and contemporary dance.
The film was first screened at the V&A (Victoria & Albert Museum) during Refugee Week 2018. Click here for more information on the exhibition.
